INFORMATION FOR U6 PLAYERS:
A numbered jersey is included in the registration cost.   

Players need a size 3 ball, cleats or tennis shoes, and shin guards, shorts, and a water bottle.  

INFORMATION FOR U8 PLAYERS:
A numbered jersey is included in the registration cost.  

Players need a size 4 ball, cleats, shin guards, shorts, and a water bottle.

INFORMATION FOR U10 PLAYERS:

VOLUNTEERS:
East Texas Soccer Association is a non profit, volunteer organization that facilitates the sport of soccer for the enjoyment of the participants.  All board members,  coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents are all volunteers who give their time and efforts on behalf of the players.
Without parent volunteers, the number of children able to participate would be decreased.
Volunteer your time to your child, coach, team and league.

BEFORE REGISTERING:

AFTER REGISTERING:
The next contact you will receive from MSA will be from the coach of your child's team.  Your child's coach will receive the roster at the coaches meeting and draft which is held approximately three weeks prior to opening games.  Coaches are asked to contact players shortly thereafter. The coach of your child's team, will notify you of days, times, and locations he/she has chosen for practice.  Be prepared with child's equipment to attend the first practice.  



Dear Parent - 

Thank you for your interest in East Texas Soccer Association.  We offer two seasons, fall & spring.  Our registrations take place on  Saturday's in July & January.  Our goal is to grow and have soccer camps in the summer and tournaments at least once a year.  Please continue to check our calendar for updates. 
 
Players must be 4 by August 31st to play in the current season. No exceptions!
 
Registration for Fall begins July 1st, games begin in September and end in November
 
Registration for Spring begins January 1st, games begin in March and end in May.


Seasons are approximately 9-10 weeks (it depends on how many teams we have in the current season)

Players are placed on teams during a coach's draft.  Practice can be once or twice a week as determined by the coach and age of the players. 
 
Coaches are volunteers and determine practice day, time and location, so this information will not be available until your player has actually been placed on a team.
 
Most games are on Saturday between 9 am and 12 pm, but sometimes teams have make up games during the week.

Friendly Reminder from East Texas Soccer Association

In sports, opponents are necessary for your child to be able to participate. Please treat your opponents, referee's, and coach's with courtesy and respect. 

Parents are to adhere to the Parents Code of Conduct at all times!  

Parents must review and acknowledge the ETSA Parents Code of Conduct to complete the registration process.
